head retention What do you like to do?
The usual malts carafoam etc? Or do you do more?

I don't let my fermentation temps get high and I like to use more lower alpha hops than higher alpha to reach a certain IBU.

I try to use flaked oats, flaked wheat, wheat malt or carapils at least one in most of my brews and they all have good heads. I also use Munich 10L - 20L a lot and do not see issues.
