Beerdrinker,

I just planted my first hops yesterday. They were from freshops.com and came fast and in great condition. I can't speak to the climate issue, but my approach was to pick flavor/aroma hops that would be most common for a variety of beers. So I planted Cascade, Kent Goldings, & Hallertaur for American, English & German beers respectively. I figure that will give me plenty of options for using the hops.
Life is just better with a closet full of beer.
