If you are looking for grapefruit, pine, and big resiny floral/herbal dankness flavors , I would brew Chris's suggestion. It will give you what your are looking for. I brewed something similar a week ago with apollo, columbus, chinook and falconer's flight with a very similar hopping rate. Not sure 1oz. of Cascade at 0 min and dry hop is enough for an IPA let alone an Imperial IPA. Plus, you won't get much pine or dank with Apollo only at 60 minutes and Columbus only at 15 minutes, IMHO.

Nice. You have to think of oil composition of your hops, cause different oils will give you different flavors. Ur ibu should be around 100-120.

I think im gonna spread my hops out a little in the boil, mostly apollo and centennial. Has anybody dryhopped with apollo before?

I just added my dry hops to my keg 2 days ago. First time I have used them in the boil or dry hop, so too early to say. In discussing my recipe with Nathan Smith, he suggested using half the amount of apollo as the other hops because they have a lot of oil and can sometimes dominate the beer. I cut my original addition in half and added back the difference in centennial to off set the dank and pine with a little bit floral and citrus.

2oz of Cascade will give you plenty of citrus, grapefruit aroma. I don't think you want to dry hop with bittering hops, just not enough aroma.

Cascade has high myrcene content therefore it's aroma hop and will peak at 0-10 min. You can always try and dry hop half of ur beer with double the hops.
