Yeah I've been to both MN Northern Brewer stores within the last week and they had plenty in stock. I'm assuming their warehouse does too. Better stock up if you can :jnj

I'm wheeling and dealing right now making trades with breweries for one (or three) hops to trade to another brewery for Simcoe.. I hope to have enough to release some more within a few weeks to a month. If you hop on my email list on the left side of any page of www.nikobrew.com you'll be notified as soon as we have more to offer. I know it doesn't help this year but for next year we've contracted a significantly larger amount. Thanks for posting the link I appreciate it, just sorry I don't have any in stock right now.

Any thoughts on replacing the simcoe additions with Falconers Flight and how that would play with the other hops? Or any thoghts on Falconers Flight at all?

Yeah, I've been able to find whole cone, but I've never brewed with whole hops before and a large portion of this recipe's hops is for dry hopping and I think pellets will work better.

According to Nate Smith from a while ago on twitter, Falconer's Flight is a pretty good sub for Simcoe. Based on the IPA I just brewed, I agree with that and Zythos is a good fit for Centennial.

So you can blend FF and Zythos together as you would Simcoe and Centennial, good to know. I just got some of these for the first time and have yet to use them. Got some Simcoe, Amarillo and Citra too, due to the lesson learned last year and the early warning forecast from the BN Army. :D

I'm going to have some full pounds of Simcoe available next weekend. It's going to be pricey as we paid an arm and a leg for them, they'll be at $37.50/lb. I'll post in the ingredients section when the sale begins you'll also be notified via email if you're on our email list and if you're not you can add yourself on the left side of any page of www.nikobrew.com
