Dry Rice Extract and Beersmith 2

Thu Mar 22, 2012 11:18 pm

I really hate asking for help. I'm that kind of person that likes to figure things out for myself or to locate answers on my own. But this time I've run into a bit of trouble. I'm trying to input the dry rice extract MoreBeer! offers into Beersmith 2 and can't for the life of me find anything about the color rating or gravity potential. Any help with this?
Primary: Sandhurst IPA
Secondary: Air
Bottled: Tolerance Ale, White Boy Pale Ale, Loco Java Stout, Morebeer! Belgian Dubbel, Midwest Peace Coffee Java Stout
Planned: Honey Cream Ale, Walrus Raspberry Ale

Not that i have any exact answer but the color can not be much and I would think that the sugar contribution it is similar to DME making near 40 points per pound per gallon.

Yield should be around 1.042-1.045 per lb per gallon. Colorwise I'd throw a 1 in there.
