Sat Dec 31, 2011 8:52 pm

Fellow BN Army Members,

I just put 'em online in 2oz packs. Amarillo is 2010 crop and is in VERY limited supply, Simcoe and Citra are from the 2011 crop and limited as well. Not limited in that I'm limiting how much you can order, just that we don't have much for the year.

LOL I wish you did too! :) It was dumb luck. A brewery had it and I made a trade, only got one 44lb box and when that's gone I have no idea when I'll get more.

At 48$ per pound I'll pass. Sorry NIko but that price is way high since I ordered mine from Hopsdirect for 16$ per pound. I'll use another hop before I pay over 200% markup. I know that people want that hop and I'm sure you will easily sell the one 10 kilo box you got but come on people there are many other tasty varieties out there. Spot prices for Cascade, for example, are much less per pound than that 48$.

No worries at all, NH, I know that it isn't cheap, and I know recently some other places had it for less than I do. I have so little Amarillo on hand (I don't expect to get more for another 2 years, it's sold out through at least the 2012 crop) that I don't consider this selling hops in bulk, so this would be closer to what you might pay at a local homebrew shop if they had Amarillo.

My cost on Cascade is much lower, which is why I'm selling Cascade for a much lower price. Not only that but I have about 880 pounds of it available after I take out what's going to breweries on contract the year, and if I run out of that before the 2012 crop comes in I'll probably be able to get more on spot.

I hope this didn't come off as me having attitude or being defensive as I don't mean any of those things, I'm just always happy to address any concerns.
