Go with the 3/16" ID line.

What temperature are you keeping your kegerator at? 3 feet shound awfully short unless you are keeping your beer close to freezing or getting lots of foam. About 5 feet of 3/16" tubing is pretty much what you should be running at around 42-44° at that pressure.

I moved this because I felt it should be under the kegging forum.

i don't have a thermometer in the frig, but i would suspect it would be in the upper 30's lower 40's

I have on that runs about three feet of 3/16 but it has a counter pressure tap on it.
And when I go home tonight I am going to set my other tap up for 3/16. It came with 5 feet of 1/4 in and it sucks.
