Took Plunge #2

Plunge #1 is going all-grain, aeration, larger kettle, chill coil, but I took plunge #2 this weekend: chest freezer ($40), corney keg, keg hookup-thingers, temperature controller. (Plunge 2a is the CO2 stuff, need to sneak it past my wife somehow).

The freezer is happily running in my basement and I'm making a collar for it now (instead of working).

I'm looking forward to large chested German women dropping by since having your own kegs of beer is "hot" as Daniela says. (Need to sneak that by the wife too).

Grats on the chest freezer. I think you will love it almost as much as much as the chesty german women.

Just watch the addiction. Im already on my second chest freezer. I just bought a 22 cu foot freezer for conditioning and storage.

If that becomes a problem for you, you can send the women over here to hang around my kegerator until you figure out how to get them past your wife. 8)

Mine is just a 5 cu ft freezer, but its almost brand new and it's energy usage is low, which is nice. I'll measure the other chests and let you know if I get more than 22 cu feet.
