Beer trolley

I'm doing the "Drive many miles and see ALL the relatives Christmas" this year. I thought that this christmas I would act as Beer Santa and bring a lot of beer with me wherever I drive. So I constructed the beer trolley.

The Drip-tray and bracket come off and the trolley folds up for stowage in the car, and the plastic tub is big enough for the three cornies and for a batch of HB hefe and assorted commercials.

Note the butchered sodastream machine piggybacking one of the kegs. Its 45g CO2 cylinder provides gas to push the whole system via a schrader valve morphed onto the end of a standard gas QD for the cornies. Beer runs slow, push the button for a quick squirt of CO2 and more beer.

I have around 100litres of beer to get through, so I know I'm going to have one, but here's hoping all you BNers out there have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I've got a similar thing going, but using a 2 wheel dolly instead of a 4 wheel cart. I think I like the 4 wheel better; looks more stable and easier to move around, and you can handle more kegs The 2 wheeler gets heavy and tippy with all the stuff on it.

I'm hunting for a picture of the whole rig, but not having much luck yet :( Might have to just set it up and take a new pic.

Here is apicture of the tower I use. It sits snug over top of a corny keg. For a long party on a hot day I will bring the whole chest freezer. When empty I can lift it by myself, and not have to worry about ice all day. It's sort-of portable, but takes a bit to get it all loaded and unloaded.

For a shorter or indoor party, I will leave the chest freezer at home. Instead I put a round plastic tub on the two wheel dolly, rest the CO2 bottle on the axle and strap it to the back of the dolly, and put the tower on one of the cornies. The whole rig can then be rolled up ramps into the back of my truck and rolled out at the party.

Uuuhhh, you use an ellipsis?

Maybe there is a link missing?
