I naturally carbonated my very first batch in the keg and it came out great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as technique (although now I force carb exclusively.) Can't give you any hints on filtering as I've have zero experience doing it.

If you are going to condition in the corney and then filter I would cut the bottom 1/2 inch off of your dip tubes. That should help keep from sucking up so much trub that will clog you filters.

I never do this, but from what I've read you want to back off the priming sugar. I just looked around a bit and it seems most guys go with about 1/3 a cup priming sugar for a 5gal corny. Then if they need a little more they just dial up the CO2.

If you're going to post, at least post it in the correct forum.
