I went to pour a Dunkle after being gone for a couple weeks and the tap was stuck. Fuck. I give it a bit of a yank and SNAP. I couldn't belive it. The brass pin inside sheared. I really didn't pull on it that hard
Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

I thought I had read something that some folks use Keg Lube on the seal and have avoided that problem for the Rear-sealing taps. (Dunno, I switched to forward seals before I read about that. )
I clean my tap handles after every keg and lube the moving parts with keg-lube, but they still stick after a few days.
Definatley time for some forward-sealing faucets. Looks like Ventmatic Ultraflows are back on the market. I guess Shirron has the rights to them now they're "Shirron Ultraflows" or something like that. Perlicks are still good though.

I just ordered two Shirron Ultraflows myself. If you get yours before I get mine, let me know if the faucet threads match up to the shank. I've read that on some towers folks had to replace the shank (my tower came from Micro Matic).
