CO2

Somewhat new to kegging and starting to get a bit frustrating. 2x in the last couple weeks my CO2 canister has completely bled dry. Obviously a leak of some sort, but no idea where to start looking for a leak. I have a converted pin to ball lock corny with relief valve. Running 10 psi to it. Curious if the relief valve is faulty or should I be checking the lines/connections. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Mix up some star san or dish soap solution and spray/wipe over every seam and connection. Then just follow the bubbles.

Good hunting soldier.

Easy enough anday6. Thank you for the reply. I'll give it a whirl.

Sometimes you have to crank it up to 20 psi to seal it off. Spray star-san all around the posts, relief valve, and top to make sure it's not leaking as you're pressurizing up.

Are you purging the keg after racking into it, to properly seat the lid. I usually go up to about 25-30 PSI just to make sure the lid is seated well inside. Have you tried any keg lube to add that to your large O-ring on the lid? Just some thoughts to help....
