Just an FYI that now is a good time to try and track down a compact/mini-fridge for a kegerator. It seems more are being posted right now by graduating college students. I just picked up a stainless style Kenmore Elite 4.9 cu. today off Craigslist list for $60.
Needless to say, I'm pretty happy!
Good Luck,
Rob

Thanks for the Craigslist tip! Been trying to get my hands on a cheap fridge, hadn't checked the site yet though. Nothing too recent posted that looked good, but I'll keep checking it out.

Hey Wichita:
One feature I find useful when searching on Craigslist is the RSS feed link in the bottom right. Just paste that link into a RSS reader or browser and it automatically updates you when a posting has been made that matches your search criteria. When looking for the mini-fridge I also used varied search terms to encompass all the variables that might come up.
Good Luck,
Rob

I didn't think a mini fridge would accomodate a homebrew keg? do you need to do some alterations (e.g. remove the freezer)?

I hadn't picked up on that one. Thanks, Rob, I'll set that up!

Hey Polski:
The Kenmore Elite 4.9 cu. ft. isn't technically a mini-fridge. It's a compact fridge.
Sellers, however, list them many times as "mini-fridge." The main thing to look for is the "all refridgerator" model of either the Sanyo or Kenmore Elite. The height is 33 3/4 in. and will hold two corny kegs.
When doing a search try "mini-fridge" "mini-refridgerator" "Sanyo refridgerator" "Sanyo fridge" "Kenmore refridgerator" "Kenmore fridge" etc. This way you have a better chance of not missing a post for one.
I didn't have "mini-fridge" as one of my search terms in my RSS reader and when I put it in a couple weeks ago had more hits and was able to find the Kenmore Elite model for $60.
Before that I had been looking for one on Craigslist for almost a year.
