Paperweight ruined or fixable ruined? Yea, I had the pleasure this last weekend of finding out that nope, that must not be a check valve as I managed to shoot beer out of my regulator :(

I'm sure I'm not the only one to have done this, so what's the fix?
The more I learn, the more I know, theres a lot more I don't know.

You could theoretically take it apart, buy new gauges and spend alot of time cleaning everything, but that would cost you almost as much as anew reg. and is not a guaranteed fix. In my opinion it is paper weight ruined. CB's like beer_bear might tell you otherwise though.

Oh.. and your not the only one to have done this. Make sure none got into your co2 tank either. Look around where it mates to your reg. for any beer or crusties. If you are still not sure turn your tank upside down, open the valve and see if any beer comes out.

I've never done it myself, but I'm pretty sure you just take it apart, clean it, and get one of these rebuild kits if anything inside is either busted or cant be cleaned.

Damn, I was hoping to have him send me the old POS. Then I was going to rebuild it and sell it back to him.
