ball lock vs. pin lock---I know, stupid question

How do I know if the keg I have is ball or pin lock?

Pin lock posts have little steel pins sticking out the side to hold the connectors on. Ball lock use a spring loaded ball bearing mechanism to hold them on.

Gotcha...I guess I have a ball lock...I didn't understand which one was which....

thats why i like my pin locks, they may be a little taller connector, but it is impossible to hook them up bass akwards.

Easy way to tell the gas in from the beer out on ball lock. the gas in will have nicks in the nut at the bottom of the in piece. This is not the case on the beer out side.
