Chest freezer problems

My chest freezer is full of condensation, well, not full, but there's some in there. After 2 weeks, I wiped it out with a paper towel, so it's not completely bad. This is obviously a non-self defrosting freezer, so is this expected?

Also, I have a small bucket with water (about 2 quarts of water) in there to keep my temperature sensor measuring "liquid temp", so perhaps thats the source.

Is there another solution or should I plan on wiping it out every so often?

EDIT - My B3 keg and CO2 tank should be here any minute now, hurry up UPS!

Pick up a bucket of Damp Rid. It works really well. I'm sure Wallymart has it.

Can I rub the damp-rid over your swimming pool lady there? Looks like she needs it.
