how caustic is PBW and Star San?

I'm about to move to a new house and they have hardwood floors in the kitchen. I usually clean and sanitize there. I'm renting and don't want to damage the floors. Once mixed according to instructions can either one cause damage to hardwood floors? Thanx in advance.

Oh yea, and from what I read starsan is pretty acidic....I heard you don't have to let it fully dry before using items, buckets, siphons, etc. but will this stuff eat away the rubber on my auto siphon? And do I really need to wear gloves to work with it? Not trying to sound like a Vagina but I worked with an alkaline plate cleaner at work without gloves before that was about 9.5 PH and it gave me lizard skin that slowly cracked and peeled for a month. Not alot of fun, especially when it comes to touching the girlfriend.

Can't say what it'll do to a hardwood floor but I have my hands in Star San and PBW all the time with no ill affects.

Once mixed, StarSan is pretty safe to use. Beware of getting the concentrated stuff on your hands. I have hardwood floors in my brewery room. It has clean spots all over it from starsan. I need to get in there and scrub the rest of it to match.......or maybe spill a big batch of the stuff.

PBW is safe... you could douche with the stuff.... It is basicly Oxyclean with improvements. I have had my cock in the stuff for 3-4 minutes after a bad run in in Tijuana once... God I hope my wife dosen't read this.

Star-San is nice too... all bubbly and tickles the scrotum hairs. Star san is ph of ~3 or so in it's diluted state... no more dangerous than vinegar in my opine and makes a hell of a salad dressing (Oh for sweet christ do not try that, I didn't either and if you rot your esophogus or other body parts with either of these chemicals I am sooooo not responsible). Ok what I am trying to say is that in my experience ( I am not a Scientist or Scientologist nor do I know shit in general) this shit is safe... stop whining and don't worry... Home depot rents floor refinishing gear so quit being a pussy and learn home improvement and none of this will be an issue.
