Refurbishing hand crank roller mill

I picked up an older roller mill. The rollers have some rust on it. Anyone with experience with cleaning this up? I'm planning on using wire brush first.

Give it a soak in some BKF ( Bar Keepers Friend) then scrub if you need. I think that is your best bet at this point.
