I have been using Promash for several years now and find that it works for me.....mostly. Some features I never use, and others just don't seem to make sense. I wish they would update the program and include some decent stuff for us batch spargers. The big reason I have not seriously considered changing is that I have a huge database of recipes in Promash format (.rec) that I wouldn't want to lose or have to manually convert plus I have all my session files that I refer to all the time when I am rebrewing a recipe or revising a recipe. If these two sets of files could be quickly and easily transfered to another brewing software program, I would immediately begin evaluating a possible switch.

Bug - I use Beer Tools Pro and it allows you to bring in ProMash Recipes without issue. The only thing it is really lacking is good documentation (in the works) and a Session Recording feature to log the brew day (which has been sidelined while the documentation is taken care of). I would imagine you can bring in your PM sessions into BTP as soon as they complete that feature and release an update. The authors of BTP are quick to answer any questions and I have to admit it is a really nice program already with more new features to come.
