It looks pretty good.

What did the pump set you back?

I am envious.

It was $129 plus tax, I think. I bought it from B3 back in January and am just now getting it worked into my system.

Sweetness. My UPS brought my pump yesterday. Looks like we have very similar setups.

I like the way you set up your pump with quick disconnects. Where did you purchase the QD's?

I picked them up at the local hardware store, be sure to check the package though. I almost got some from the garden department and luckily read the packaging to find the they contained lead. I quickly put them back and got the ones that did not contain lead (two different brands). So be sure to read the fine print.

Alternatively (if there's no better choice available) you can soak the wee beesties in a 2:1 solution of distilled vinegar and H2O2 till they turn a buttery color. The solute will turn blue-green (azure?) when it's exhausted. But at least you had a choice *this* time :-) TTYAL and ILBCNU!

Prost!

So the Hydrogen peroxide and the acetic acid draw the lead out of the brass and form Verdi gris? Good information to know for the future.
