I hate you WhiteBeard... of course I could totally paint a map of hawaii on that stand whilst watching myself in the gleeming kettles.... <gush>

Absolutely, your welcome........haven't seen any signs of rust yet, and don't think I will...that Metal Gloss stuff forms a protective seal on the metal, kinda like a barrier, the water never touches the metal itself, just beads up and rolls right off. The guy I bought it from said heat wouldn't effect it, we'll see what happens after I fire them up. They've been that way for almost a month or better now, and have been outside in the elements and have seen NO signs of rust forming.

cguntzviller; sorry to hear about the weather...but THAT is why I live in the south now.....have only seen it snow here twice since I've been here a little over 10 years. Today it was 70!

Dont get me wrong, but I love the cold and snow :P Snowmobiling and ice fishing and work is about all I do in the winter, oh and brew, I cant stand the summer heat, so i couldnt make it in the south :( I can live through a winter of looking at regular unpolished kegs. I suppose i could fire up the salamander and work on them in the garage while brewing sometime, but I'd rather be drinking

Sorry, I'm a dipshit. I was looking at the post on my phone, and I forgot that it scales the pix down a bit. It's quite close enough on a full size monitor.

The "initiating launch sequence" protective shroud on the main power switch is the detail the gets me. It's genious. Protects against those accidental brewing launches... You should imbed a little solid state mp3 player inside the control panel and kick off a soundfile of really large motors spinning up when you flip that switch... brewing engaged.

Nice work.
