Anyone pick up the full recipe last night? I missed the weights on the grain bill.

6 gallon batch.

OG 1.066

90% 2 Row
10% Special B
mash @ 148

25 grams Chinook @ 85 min
25 grams Chinook @ 45 min
25 grams Chinook @ 15 min
25 grams Chinook @ 0 min

I haven't down the math to figure out the exact grain weights yet. Thinking of doing this with LME because it's such a simple recipe and Special B can be steeped.

Think of it this way. You're all jazzed to brew a clone of something. You go to the site and download the CYBI episode. Listen to the thing. And then find out it is a miss 50% of the time. Dang, can't these guys clone these things? We'd have to change the name to Can You Maybe Brew It? :(

So I was freaked out about not hitting 80%. It turned out that we had a lot of early success, but I see some misses in our future as we go for some of the tougher clones. I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up at 80% over the long haul.

Of course, we'll keep working on every beer until we clone it. We're not just going to say we can't. We'll freakin do it! :jnj

try cloning some beers from Heretic Brewing, I hear that guy is a major dick!
On tap 1: Dry Irish
On tap 2: El Jefeweizen
On tap 3: Vienna
kegged: Rye Amber, Belgian Dark Strong, CYBI Mirror Pond, Irish Red, RIS
lagering: Vienna, Helles, Cream Ale, CAP

So did they clone it? I scanned the archive of the Fullers show and didn't hear anything. Where did that recipe come from?
