Damn hurricane!

My cascade plant in the front of my house is about a week away from harvest and the hurricane is coming up the coast. I guess ill have to stand outside with it so it doesnt get pulled down. Its pretty secure on coir twine and about 20feet tall. I live in dc area so they are calling for 25 mile per hour winds. Should I emergency harvest? My other plants are further inland and im not worried about them. Damn hurricane.

I would let it ride. Living in south FL I can say damn hurricane for sure. We got lucky and my fingers are crossed for NC. Wait until saturday afternoon and see what shape she is in then.

I'm in the same boat, I want to harvest next weekend. I have 10 plants loaded with cones, I'm letting them ride out the hurricane here is SE PA.

This hurricane made me think of the wonderful people I met in NYC quickly about a year ago. I hope you and friends and family are safe and well, and may your property remain intact. The same goes out to anyone on the US east coast and to anyone in the Carribean.

The storm has passed by. No house damage. Tomato and pepper garden flatened, composter blown away. Hops survived. Only found about 7 or 8 cones around the base of the plant. Looks like this first year cascade will be giving up about a pound of dry after all. How did you fare dunleav1?
