I've got a back porch that is southern-facing and the sun beats on it all day. The thing I wonder is that at only 10 feet tall, is that tall enough to run lines for hops to grow on?

I run my hops to the top of my trellis then run a wire laterally and train the hop vine out the wire. You can make it as long as you want/need to.
