If I don't get much of a harvest the first year, that's ok. It will be fun listening to the neighbors talk about me growing weed in plain site

I have a Sunbeam hop I planted @ five years ago. Grows fine and looks pretty but as far as I can tell it is an ornamental hop variety. I have never gotten anything useful from it. I did buy it as an ornamental so I'm actually pretty happy with it....huskerbrew wrote:I'm giving it a go this year also. Ordered 2 Cascade, 2 Northern Brewer and 2 Goldings and also 1 called sunbeam or sunshine or something. Supposed to be a saaz hybrid with golden leaves. Seemed interesting. I'll probably order some centennials, horizons and maybe some willamette as well. Gonna keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best. Now I just have to figure out how to keep my two pooches away from them.
