I have some Heady Topper I picked up the day they brewery closed to the public.

I bet it was nuts up there that day. I'm taking a day off in December to go up and find some at one of the retailers. Then I'll probably complete the trip with stops at Rock Art and Hill Farmstead. My brother lives in that area just in case I sample a bit too much

There were some issues with traffic, neighbor complaints and permitting issues due to the State and local governments not communicating. They are working on a new retail shop in a different area and I think it is slated to open in January.
The brewery/cannery still operates at it's current location and will continue to do so in the future.

I read that article about the brewery closing it's retail shop. It's crazy they went from 30 bbls a week to 180 bbl. After doing the math it really has me thinking about a 15 bbl brew pub. I just have to formulate a recipe as good as HT, which is unlikely 
252 pints in a barrel * 180 barrels = 45,360 @ 3.50 per pint = $158,760 per week.

- taxes - maintenance - other gov't/legal bs - payroll = $3.62/wk
