I don't know who came up with the hop chart in BCS, but and updated version of that with the new varieties would be handy.

Ever think of a section regarding different types of adjuncts/flavors or additions to beer. Examples brewing with/adding: fruit, bourbon, coffee, bacon, chocolate etc. I know there is a lot of info out there and you can find it, but it would be nice to have in one place and maybe some general ideas or techniques that may work for things we haven't yet though of?

Cheers,

I think it would make for a fun show folks.

To clarify, this is Palmer asking what we would like to see in the next edition of his book, How to Brew.... Why you no read the fucking Palmer?

These are all good ideas, Thanks!
Small batch sizes is not something I had considered, but it is certainly worth a subsection.

But sometimes it's more fun to just wing it.

+1

To piggy back on that maybe a similar spider chart for general flavors on malts (base malts, roasted malts, crystal malts, etc...) and yeast (lager yeasts, belgians, english, american, wheat, sour, etc...).

Honestly Palmer off the top of my head I brainstormed and came up with a few practical things that I thought weren't covered in How To Brew and sure enough after quickly flipping through the book again I found all the answers I needed and then some. I'm not sure how much more info you can really add. Maybe update those pictures of you brewing that were clearly taken in the late 80's :P
