"F" it ale today. I'm sick of being so hung up on OGs IBUs and everything that get so techinalcal in this hobby. Sticking to the basics and just enjoying the day today. I have to say so far the less I'm worrying about the better I do. The recipe is a pretty close one to the CYBI Stone Levitation ale clone although it's a little lighter in color and I had to substitute Libery for the crystal.

No actual brewing today. Just kegged and dry hopped my beet beer. Tastes pretty promising so far. Also kegged my wood aged brown ale.

No worries there. Crystal, Liberty, Mt. Hood, and Sterling can pretty much be substituted for each other at any time.

Today I kegged a Cascade Ale with WY1272 and brewed the same recipe that I intend to pitch WY1338 into in the morning when it cools down.

Pewter Badge Brown Porter heading for the fermenter today. Denny's Favorite 50 starter looks ready to get to work.

As a child I refused to eat beets. To this day I will not voluntarily do so. But if Wayne says this is good stuff I suppose I'd have to overcome my fear.

Taking my new system for a spin; finally got all the sweet blichmann swag together. Going to do an IPA with some simcoe and amarillo in it, since that's the recipe I'm most familiar with. Scaling from 5 gallon batches to 15 seems like it's kind of fraught, so I figured I'd best go with what I'm best at.
