CYBI Shakespeare Stout on the boil. Forgot to buy oats so I mashed in a pound and a half of wheat instead. First time to try the PacMan yeast.

Elbone, I brewed ten gallons of kolsch yesterday with the yeast you sent. The yeast survived shipping really well, starter was clean and it's fermenting like crazy.

Brewing schwartzbier today. If you haven't brewed JZ's recipe, try it, it is awesome.

A group of about a dozen of us in our club are getting together to celebrate AHA Mead Day (which was technically on Saturday) by having a workshop on mead making and each of us making a batch of mead. Of course we will also be sampling our past efforts and eating a bunch of BBQ.

Just did a 10 gallon batch of Boog's Rye Cream Ale (version 3) with whatsontap last night. It was the inaugural brew session of v1.9 of my control panel - which is now powered by the BrewTroller. Everything went smooth as silk, with the exception of the fact that we ended up .08 points higher than expected. I bumped up the IBUs a little but... Imperial Cream Ale, anyone?

I think my LHBS guy changed his crush or something. Whatsontap said that he had a crazy jump in efficiency recently too.

Once I save up a little more money for the final control panel box, I'll post some revised pictures of the rig.
