WLP007 for Pliny the Elder?

I happen to have WLP007 on hand and wondering how 007 would work for a Pliny the Elder clone?
With the massive load of hops (13 oz.), will there be much difference in perceivable esters if using 007 and temperature controlled instead of 001 or another Chico strain?
I am brewing the MoreBeer Pliny clone.

I love 007.
Just ferment it cool - like 63F or so, and let 'er rip.

007 is my favorite yeast for pale ales and IPAs. It's a nice change from 001 and it sets your beer apart from other home brews IMO. It's always super clean for me @ 63/64 just like bdawg said.

... but will it turn-out a representation of Pliny the Elder?

I think it will do a great job in any IIPA.
It accentuates the malt better than 001, but it is still very clean and well attenuated like 001.
(Think of a cleaner version of 002 with the attenuation of 001).
If you are looking to exactly clone Pliny, then use the exact ingredients that RR does.

I think so, but you probably won't notice unless you do a side by side. Either way will make a great IIPA, I think. Start cool like BDawg said, and ramp it up towards the end to ensure maximal attenuation.

With all of the hops going into Pliny (especially dry hops) you will not notice the difference in terms of esters.

Yeah, I am thinking too, all of the hops (13 oz.) minor subtleties between yeast strains will be lost.
Which attenuates further, 001 or 007?
