100% Brett, Is it a dumper yet?

I attempted my first 100% Brett beer and after ten days not much has happen. It was only a 2.5 gallon batch that I pitched a 1000 ml stater in. There is a small pellicle but very little CO2 bubbling out of the airlock. I took a gravity reading and it has only dropped 2 degrees. The smell of the hydrometer was slightly acetic. Is there any hope for this batch?

Just leave it alone for a few months then come back to it later. Forget it even exists.

How many packs of what Brett did you pitch into the starter? Was it done on a stir plate and for how many days? I did an 11.5 gallon batch of IPA fermented with Brett Trois (WLP644) recently. I stepped it up to 750 Billion cells (counted) and it took the wort from 1.065 down to 1.011 when I had checked it at 17 days. It could have been at 1.011 before 17 days, I don't know. CO2 production had decreased to almost nothing prior to checking.

The starter only had one vial of Brett C for 1 week.
