Chest Freezer Fermentation Temperature Issues

I have a chest freezer wired with a Ranco temp controller residing in my detached garage (which is not temperature controlled). It is only effective if the outside temp is higher than the fermentation temp i need. So, overnight in the NJ summer it may drop below the 67degrees i am dialing in and in the winter it cannot heat up to that temperature.

Have heard of keeping a light bulb inside to heat up the cooler space but i'm not sure i like that idea and have two 55 Chevys in close proximity to the fermentation chamber. Should i try and brew styles to season (lagers in the summers) ? Or is there something else i may be able to rig up?

Don't have ne space inside to relocate the chest freezer.

Thanks.

I have a fermwarp taped the the inside wall of the chest freezer and both hooked up to a 2 stage ranco.
