Saving Yeast Starter For A Few Days......

I am going to try the BYO 15th anniversary ale which uses both the White Labs Scottish/Scotch and High Gravity Trappest Ale yeasts. I need 2 liters of each yeast seperate. I only have 1 flask and 1 stir plate, how should I "save" the first starter for 2 or 3 days untill brewing day?

i would store it in the fridge and then on brew day, put it back on the stir plate for a bit with some extra starter wort to get the yeast active again before you pitch.
2 and 2 always makes a 5

You only have 1 flask to make a starter in right? That means, the first starter you make, will then be using up your only flask. How did you plan on making the second starter? sounds to me like you need a second yeast starting vessel like a glass gallon jug. Without that, I think you are risking contamination by transferrring your first yeast starter into another container. But your first starter can be kept cold in a fridge for several days after fermentation is complete. Just be sure to decant any extra wort on top before pitching your yeast (somewhat warmed up).

You should not fear contamination from transferring your starter to another container. If you cannot sanitize your second container sufficiently for the starter, you cannot sanitize the original one either and shouldn't be dealing with yeast. Use normal sanitation procedures and you should be good. The only risk comes from the transfer itself. As long as you are doing it in an area where the air is clean (no grain dust, no ceiling fan blowing dust around, no breathing or coughing into the container) there should be no problem with contamination.
