Don't you just love the little guys? They're sooo cute. NOT! I feel your pain brotha. Check the archives for advice. I've been bitching about those little flying vinegar factories on here for years.

I make a fruit fly trap. Roll a piece of paper into a cone. Put a piece of banana in a cup. Put the cone on top of the cup, skinny end down and saran wrap around the edge to seal. It won't catch all of them but it helps.

Thank god none of them in the new place, the old place though they were everywhere. Genocide did not work.

They actually eat yeast. You might try cleaning the outside of the carboy with soap or spraying with Starsan.

I DESPISE THOSE FRIFGGIN THINGS~!! Filthy carrion eating bastards.
They eat dead crap, they eat crap crap and anything else that holds still

I put one of them in a jar with a fist full of evil hourglass spiders and left it to the mercy of the spiders.

The little fuker just sat there like it was saying :" Hey Check out my posse - asshole~!! Now LET ME OUTTA THIS JAR~!!"
The spiders never touched the damn bug. I left 'em in there for a couple days and the spiders started dying from starvation.
HEY~!! It's a hobby~!! It's NOT supposed to make sense~!!
