Starter Question

Quick question. I made a starter this past weekend. Something came up where I wasn't able to brew. I did not pitch the yeast and put the starter wort in the fridge to use this weekend. I am paranoid about sanitation; the flask with the wort in it is sanitized. Are there any downfalls to brining the wort back to room temp and then pitching my yeast? I was thinking of boiling the wort again for about 5 minutes just to sanitize again. Is this nessasarry? Thanks and Cheers!

It should be fine to just bring back to room temp but if you are worried about sanitation no problem bringing it back to a boil, since you haven't pitched yet

+1 to stink!
If it only a few days, then warm up, aerate, and pitch. If it is more, then I would reboil to sterilize everything.

When I do this I like to boil 1000ml or so of the wort that I am brewing and add it to the yeast on my stir-plate while I am brewing. It gets it going again pretty good.
