Clarify my beer - first brew

My recipe calls for geletin finings after the fermentation stops. Is there a better way to try to clear up the beer, or is this the best. I also plan on crash cooling on bottle day. Let me know your suggestions. My bottle day should be in about 10-11 days from now, on day 21 total.
Thanks

clarity is overrated. don't worry about it til you have a good 10 brews under your belt. unless you're doing a light lager, it's not important

You can always chuck a whirlfloc tablet in the boil in the future. RDWHAHB
