yes i used palmer's guide with a 80 percent effeciency that might be why my numbers a re a bit higher. I think I actually only had about 4 gl of wort left after the boil and i think that the gravity was around 1.06. Thanks! the guy at the brew shop thought the gravity would be around 1.08 or 1.09 but i knew better after i did a crude mathematical equation.
