simple sugars cause messy blow off

I had never had a problem with blow off even after going from a 6.5 gallon glass carboy down to the 6 gallon better bottles

But recently I did a couple of batches that called for 2#'s of honey and 1.5#'s of corn sugar as well as 6.5#'s of DME

they both exploded out of the carboy

thank goodness they were in my fridge so the mess was limited

Sorry about that. Should've known better.

That's what I like to call 12 girls 1 bucket.
