You guys weren't kidding around: WLP300

Asked the guys in the chat on Sunday about WLP300 as it was my first time using liquid yeast. Didn't know how it was going to go. With dry yeast fermentation started within 4 hours. The guys in the chat said definitely longer and it will be very high krausen. The beer in question is a dunkelweizen with OG of 1.050 and 60 minutes of 1oz Hallertau for 14IBU.

This is after 12 hours.



And this is after one day. Today it's slowed down, but still bubbling once per second.


Thankfully I use only blow off tubes for fermentation.

PBR ME ASAP!

PBR is my go to beer for lunch. I usually have two with lunch then go to work. I save the homebrew and craft beer for after work.

Michigan has a stupid deposit program and just a rough count of my stash of empties, I've got 158 beers, plus the 3 empty Sam Adams bottles I had so far tonight. Four 18-packs of PBR, two 4-packs of Boddington's, 3 6-packs of Anchor Porter, one of Steam, 3 4-packs of Goose Island Sofie, one 4-pack Fleur, and one 4-pack Pere Jacques, and a 6 pack each of Bell's Pale Ale. Oh and 4 or 5 Weihenstaphaner hefeweissbier dark (dunkelweizen). That's what I drank this month so far. Very expensive and after a 3 month break from homebrewing, I'm back at it. All that beer is expensive! After 3 months my wallet is killing me.
