Tast APA - Dry Hop - 2 Carboys

Sun Apr 10, 2011 3:51 am

I brewed a 10 gallon batch of Mike's Tasty APA and had to split it between to Carboys as I don't have a 10 gallon fermenter. My question is, do I just split the dry hop between them, or should each Carboy get a full dose of the dry hop?

You can split it to duplicate the level of hop aroma in Tasty's beer, or give full dose to each to make it even more intense, or anywhere in between (or beyond).

It's really up to you.
For simplicity, I suggest you split it on this batch and then add more or less next batch to your liking.

It depends on your recipe. If the recipe is for 10 gallons then split the hops between the two carboys. :drink
