To pitch or not to pitch

I brewed a pale ale on 3-21 and top cropped the yeast (wlp001)on 3-22. I put the top crop in a two quart starter and let it ferment out over about 4 days. I had the starter in the fridge on 3-26 and I haven't brewed since due to moving into a new house. I'm brewing this weekend, should I pitch the harvested yeast (sitting under its own beer for 3 weeks)? Or should I buy a new pitch. I really want to pitch the reharvested yeast because I wanted to see if I could keep it going for a year (brewing every other weekend) and then do a 10 gallon batch and ferment 5 with the harvested yeast and 5 with a new pitch to see what differences there are. The top cropped yeast I have now is on its 6th generation.

I would pour the beer off the top of the starter you have in the fridge and pitch it to a new starter the morning you are going to to brew or the night before...and just use that...it should be fine

+1. Give it a sniff ahead of time and make sure it doesn't stink.
