Braggot yeast

I am a big fan of a dry American Pale ale with a neutral malt presentation (pilsner/US 2 row) and Floral Hop character, like cascade. I am considering marrying this with a local wildflower honey to make a braggot. Is this a good idea? Also, What's the best yeast for this type of braggot? Just plain old American ale 1056 or 001? Or shall I use a dry mead or wine yeast?

Thanks BN ARMY!!!

I think it's a great idea. I'll probably brew one next month. I'll use belgian yeast strain. I'm sure there are plenty yeasts that will work. :jnj
