Anyone had any success with using raw hops directly in food?

I tried it here without much luck. I just found that far too much bitterness carried through.

I had a horrible experience with adding raw hops but I am going to have to try the chicken recipe....any one have good experience with it?

I did make a hop infused vodka that was interesting but I think that is a work in progress.

Doing a vodka and an oil at the moment too. Both great so far!

I remember making it a long while back. I was sober, followed directions & remember it being fantastic. Now with 15 years of being a chef under my belt, the 2nd time I attempted this, I figured I was smart enough (& sober enough) to understand the concept & free-balled it. Drunken, bitter mess. Pretty sure I overlooked an ingredient or 3. Long story short, follow the recipe & you'll be fine.

Treat it like Cilantro. Don't use too much.
