If my blood tasted as good as that BBQ sauce I would offer myself as a sacrifice on the Alter of Paxton

I think a side of chocolate and vagina would be good.

Yes I agree - Mrs. BC has some baked beans recipes. And cornbread.

If you have a bean recipe you like - please share. I think she uses a couple cans of beans, brown sugar, mollasses, and a few things and she bakes them as I am smoking/brewing.

Just curious if there are other sides folks enjoy with BBQ.

I know Dirk has already seen this, but here is Mrs. BC's cornbread again for others:

Not really a recipe. I soak some pinto beans overnight, drain them, cover them with fresh water. (I used to put a whole jalapeno in the water too, but never really noticed that it did anything besides float.) I chop some raw bacon and toss that in, and I add a a small onion that I have quartered. (I would put in chopped cilantro but someone in the house doesn't like it  ) Bring it to a boil, then cut the heat back and simmer a couple of hours, till the beans are tender. Salt and pepper to taste in the last 30 minutes or so.

This is the perfect place to add some leftover pieces of BBQ meat. I load my beans with pulled pork, bacon, brisket, pork chop, what ever I'm smoking that day. I even keep a small container in the freezer just to add left overs for this (also comes in handy when making chili.)

Another great leftover is the BBQ dog. Bun, hotdog, BBQ beef or pork and BBQ sauce, yum!
My wife used to call me an alcoholic, so I started brewing beer. Now I have a hobby, and I'm a beer enthusiast, not an alcoholic.
