So, I have my way of doing this, but I'm shopping for the way other folks make this dish.

Here's the catch. I promised to make this dish for my students on St. Patrick's day. I need to have it sit in the fridge, and then re-heat it in the home-ec class about an hour before their lunch time. I'll take pictures of anyone's recipe I wind up using. Let's face it, who doesn't want their moms recipe being eaten by gang bangers and crazy kids?

Thanks for reminding me. There's a public house just down the road a few miles that has a great recipe, sorry they won't give it out though.

Hey GBob, I don't have anything that special. I usually mix a little ground pork with the ground beef. Onion, garlic, Worschester sauce, etc... I usually put peas, and corn in with the meat, and then some cheese on the mashed potatos is nice too.

I don't actually use a recipe, just whatever is laying around.

I hope that's shepherds pie in my knickers...

UPDATE: I'd only put half the cinnamon called for. Use Lamb=Shepards Pie use Beef=Cottage pie.

I make mine with Creme Style Corn...I'm sure it's not traditional but I like it a whole lot better.

That one looks good... ESPECIALLY because there are no peas in it like so many other versions I've had here.

I love some Shepherd's Pie. Thanks for posting that recipe. We may try it out.
