while we're on the BBQ, i have to say, Spott77 from these forums is a killer BBQ'er/smoker/porkologist. Dude sent me a lb of pulled pork as a bonus in a beer trade. I shoveled in my face as fast as possible. Best i ever had.

I think there is a strong agreement with the Rib-eye, but where have you had the best one?

The two best steaks I have had have been in Vegas: A bone in Rib-eye at Del Frisco's (manager is smoking hot, 6' plus dirty blonde), and a Porterhouse at the Palm (Ceaser's). These steaks were eaten on the same trip, along with a stop a Ruth's Cris (what a joke compared to the other two places).

I will also give an honorable mention to the Chicken Fried Steak at Bob's Steak and Chop House in San Fran; damm good for a cut normally served at Denny's to drunks.

I am thawing out a Rib-eye roast for the BBQ tonight.

Take care,
