New guy from Louisiana

Sun May 25, 2008 8:49 am

What's up brewers? I have been brewing for about 1.5 years, extract and partial mash. I found out about the BN when someone asked about brewing podcasts in the AHA techtalk forum a couple of months ago. I have made it through most of the archive, and this week will be my 2nd live show. I am looking forward to participating in this group, and if anyone is or will be in the Shreveport, LA area let me know so I can give you a sample of my brew.

Welcome to the insanity fellow cajun.
I don't get that far north very often but I appreciate the offer.
If you ever get down to my part of the swamp you can try mine.
Good luck and happy brewing,
Prost

Good to see another LA person in here. I used to be in the Marine Corps Reserve TOW unit in Lafayette. If I'm ever in the area again I'll let you know and bring a beer or twelve.

Welcome, as the cajun chef would say, "I gaauraantee you will learn something on the BN" but it may have nothing to do with beer. Like this this weekend I was listening to an old podcast and I learned what the Effiel Tower was and why Beevo likes it.

I will refrain from posting a pic of the eiffel tower, you will have to look that one up on your own.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm in Dallas, but I've got family spread out all over north Louisiana.

Cheers!
I think I've had about enough beer tonight...Now I need some Whiskey to sober up
