Not so new from NJ

Wed May 21, 2008 10:30 am

Hey guys. I've been reading and even posting for a little while now, but I don't think I ever got around to formally introducing myself. (And if I have then I'm an ass.)

I'm a homebrewer for five or so years now, though I took a break in there for a while due to lack of fermenting space. I don't brew all that regularly, but I do enjoy buying and building equipment. And planning my next brews.

The BN has helped with ideas a lot, and the show is really what got me to start thinking about brewing constantly. It's what I needed to get back into it I think.

Anyway, I'm trying to get more involved with the BN because I think it's an awesome community.

Also, I have my very own Jayne hat at home. JEALOUS?

Here's an official and long overdue welcome. We're going to need to see some photographic proof of such an outlandish claim :asshat:

Seems silly to welcome you now Brian. How about a "Howdy?"

No. Just wondering is "feel" was the right word. <grin>

Nad what the "f" is that avatar? I'm getting a little queasy looking at it. Kind of like JP's skin suit one.

Hmm. is "looked" better? Haha.

The avatar is a picture I took of my peanut butter and chocolate porter in the primary fermenter. The green on top is the oil from the peanut butter. I thought it was mold. Considering the amount of oil there, the beer is able to hold its head pretty well.
