Cheers 2 all!

Heya.. i'm a total noob to homebrewing but not at all a noob to beer! I've been actively wearing BeerGoggles for too many years to say. I LOVE BEER! Why I never really knew I could actually brew it myself, I don't know... but now that I know... there's no stopping me.

I just purchased a basic equipment setup last weekend with a kit for a Nut Brown, and I plan on brewing my first batch next weekend. Wooohooooo! I made this purchase after visiting a new brewery that just opened up down the road, and spoke with the Master Brewer there, who also gave me a taste of the wort. I have been researching the hobby for about a month.. lots of vids on youtube.. and I only just stumbled upon the GOLD MINE of this site.

These podcasts are AWESOME!

Cheers to you all, and I look forward to asking ridiculous noob questions!

...always, with BeerGoggles ON!

Welcome to the BN and brewing. You are about to discover that brewing is NOT a hobby, it's a full blown obsession. If you can't handle that, you had better get out now. Otherwise, prepare yourself to have the time of your life with the rest of us. Ask whatever questions you have. We may act like a bunch of retards at times, but there is a wealth of brewing knowledge of homebrewing among the denizens of this asylum. We will do everything in our power to help you have a great brewing experience so you will become even more hooked on it.

Welcome BeerGoogles ... ask away. That's why we are all here. And congrats on having a brewmaster nearby. They too are a great resource. Volunteer to clean ou the mash tun or help wash kegs. You'll learn lots along the way.
