Ellicott City, MD in the hizzy fo shizzy...

Fri Oct 05, 2007 2:29 pm

For those that haven't been to MD and give a rat's @ss, Ellicott City is roughly between Baltimore and DC... It's also the home to a pretty darn good pub - Ellicott Mills Brewing Company...

Love brewing, but - like a lot of us - I can't seem to find the time to brew as often as I'd like (every friggin' day, if I had my way!!)...

Just wanted to say hey and I'm sure you'll see more BS from me here pretty soon...

Also, I'm waiting for an ESB to age a bit and I'll add that to a pack of six brews that I'll be firing off to the BN for the guys to rip 'em to shreds!!!

Oh yeah, I've been brewing for about 8 months now and have 15 brews under my belt. Just got a mondo kegging system - 12 kegs, 6 regs (splitter on each), and a 40 lb tank - gotta love birthdays! Now I just have to snag a fridge (or 3) for a kegerator, lagering, and cold storage (for those beers I want to bottle-condition).

Well, that's enough BS for one day...

Later...

ECB,

I am just down Rt. 100 in Elkridge. I assume you shop at MDHB?

Hey! The infamous Push! Good stuff... Yup, 6 regulators and a Y on each to make a possible 12 kegs... Mmmmm, 60 gallons of beer... I have 6 filled already, but no fridge(s) yet...

Hey! The infamous Boo... Uh, I mean, Bub! Nope, you can't have any of my babies (don't have any yet though)... but you can swing by and have a beer anytime! I do web hosting/design work too - what a coincidence!

Hey Matt! Yup, I live right across the street from the Target shopping center where 29 & 100 intersect - Wheatfield. I do most of my bulk (grains/adjuncts) shopping at MDHB, but I shop around online for most of my equipment.
